Arriving at Camp

Families will be assigned an arrival window time between 9 - 11:30 a.m. on your opening day. 2024 arrival window times are posted below.

Special transportation will not be offered for arrival to Camp this summer. All campers must arrive via car and with a parent or an adult who has decision-making authority for the child.

Families are not permitted to arrive by boat, helicopter, or any other means of transportation. 

Parents are welcome to join their campers in their cabins to help unpack. Weather permitting, boat rides will be available to families on the pier between 9 a.m. - noon for Starter Camp, First and Second Session and Mariners I and III families.

As Camp is in session during arrival windows for Mariners II and IV, families are required to remain near their camper’s cabin or the Camp Store. You may not tour Camp or visit any other areas of Camp on opening days for Mariners II and IV. Plan to get the tour from your camper on closing days.

All times are by the first letter of the camper's last name. 

Starter Camp, First & Second Session, Mariners I & III

9 - 9:30 a.m.: A - C
9:30 - 10 a.m.: D - H
10 - 10:30 a.m.: I - M
10:30 - 11 a.m.: N - R
11 - 11:30 a.m.: S - Z
We ask that all families depart Camp by 12:30 p.m.

Mariners II & IV

9 - 9:30 a.m.: A - G
9:30 - 10 a.m.: H - M
10 - 10:30 a.m.: N - S
10:30 - 11 a.m.: T - Z

Required Health Screenings

The following are required for all campers.

Health History Form & Physical

The Health History Form is part of the online forms. The physical is a printed form and must include vaccination records and be reviewed and signed by a licensed physician. Both were due March 1. The printed physical must be uploaded in the online forms portal.

5-Day Screening

The 5-Day Health Symptom Screening Form includes symptom and temperature monitoring for the five days before arriving at Camp. We will post this form in May.

Intake Screening

The intake screening is completed upon arrival. It includes a temperature check and campers must be fever free to enter. Camp Seafarer campers under age 12 will undergo a lice screening. 

Camp Store

The Camp Store will be open on opening and closing days. On opening day for Starter Camp, First & Second Session and Mariners I & III, it will close at 12:30 p.m. On opening day for Mariners II & IV, it will close at noon.

To have your items shipped, shop online at least two weeks before your camper's opening day to ensure all required items arrive to you on time.

If you prefer to order online and pick up at Camp on opening day, please choose “Local Pickup” and add your camper name and session in the notes field. Your items will be available for pickup at the Camp Store on your opening day. Online orders placed within the 24 hours prior to opening day may be delayed.

Departure Information

We will offer outbound transportation for the end of Camp sessions. You can find more information and sign up in the Forms Portal under the “Transportation Section.” Please review luggage restrictions when choosing outbound transportation.

First and Second Session, Mariners II and Mariners IV: You can pick up your camper on closing day between 9 - 11:30 a.m.  

Mariners I and Mariners III: You can pick up your camper on closing day between 9 - 11 a.m. Families picking up on these days will be asked to remain near the Mariners cabins and refrain from walking around Camp. Plan to take your photos and tour Camp on opening day instead. All Mariners I and III departures must be by car or special transportation (bus). No boat departures will be allowed during these sessions.

Starter Camp:  You can pick up your camper on closing day between 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.  

There is no assigned time window for pickup. All camper luggage will be prepacked and waiting on the porch of the cabin. Staff are willing to help with loading luggage into the car; please ask if you need assistance. 

Luggage Shipping

If your child will be shipping luggage from Camp, please complete the Luggage Shipment Form on the Online Forms Portal.  

All luggage is weighed and measured, and your camper’s account will be charged per Fed Ex standard pricing. A $10 processing fee for each piece of luggage will also be charged.

Luggage will be shipped out on your camper’s closing day and may take up to one week to arrive. Fed Ex will send you an email with your camper’s tracking number. Camp is not responsible for lost or damaged luggage during transit. Please note that any oversized luggage can cost an additional $200 - $500, per Fed Ex rates. Oversized luggage is any piece where the girth is more than 130 inches and/or weighs over 70 pounds.

Shipping luggage is optional.

Shipping luggage is required.

Campers utilizing Camp transportation to the airport for domestic flights will be allowed only one carry-on item.  Camp is unable to check luggage at the airport.   

Campers utilizing Camp transportation to the airport for international flights will have all of their luggage with them and are not required to ship luggage. 

Campers taking Camp buses to select cities will be allowed one carry-on item (laundry bag or backpack) and one luggage item (large duffle or trunk). 

Shipping is required for any additional luggage.

If you are shipping luggage to Camp, it must arrive one week before your camper arrives.
