I have been going to Sea Gull and Seafarer with my family for as long as I can remember! We attended Family Camp week and found every opportunity to get to Camp for special weekends. My first summer as a overnight camper was when I was 12 years old.
I attended Seafarer as a camper, CILT, Senior Counselor, Assistant Head, Camper Services, Land Director, and Head Counselor. I clearly couldn’t get enough, so after teaching elementary school for two years, I joined the full time Director staff as the Assistant Personnel Director for Seafarer.

I enjoy reading, playing tennis, traveling, photography, Bible journaling, organizing and spending time at the beach.
In preschool, I wanted to be a cheerleader for University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill when I grew up. Once I realized that is not a profession, I daydreamed about being a teacher and weatherwoman!
While there are so many new places that I want to explore, I would also love to return to Italy, where I lived for a few months during a semester off from college. I would love to go back and relive those memories in Florence, Cinque Terre, and other amazing areas in that county.
Being a part of a community where everyone wants each other to be their best selves is invaluable. It is powerful travelling around and getting to hear the deep impact that Sea Gull and Seafarer have had and continue to have on so many people. Hearing those stories and getting to be a small part of that is a blessing.
