Cancellation Policy

In order to cancel a Family Camp or a Weekend program, Camp must receive a written cancellation notice three weeks prior to the first day of the program. There is a non-refundable $25 processing fee per participant to cancel our Family Camp or a Weekend Program.

Ensuring a safe program will require a partnership among all of us. Our top priority is to keep our campers, families, and staff safe. In light of our current reality, we have elevated our medical protocols and practices using recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), American Camp Association (ACA), North Carolina State Health and Human Services, Pamlico County Health Department, and with guidance from our Camp Medical Advisory Committee.

All participants will be required to provide documentation of a Negative Molecular PCR COVID-19 test upon their arrival at Camp. The test must be administered no more than 72 hours prior to the date of arrival. After the administration of the Molecular PCR COVID-19 test, we ask that everyone minimize their risk of COVID-19 exposures by adhering to North Carolina's three Ws and avoiding gatherings outside of their immediate household. No one will be admitted into Camp without the negative test results. Please note that even if anyone has received the COVID-19 Vaccine, he/she must still produce proof of a negative Molecular PCR test and complete and turn in the 10-day screening form.

Click here for an overview of our COVID-19 Medical Protocols and our Pre-Camp Health Assessment and Temperature Form. All family members will be required to bring their Health Assessment with them to Camp. As always, we will continue to monitor guidance from the CDC and the State of North Carolina. We recognize that COVID-19 guidelines will change as the landscape changes, and will adapt our programming and protocols accordingly.

Please complete the 10-Day Health Assessment and Temperature Form before arrival.

Our program has been designed in accordance to state and local health regulations, CDC recommendations, and the ACA’s field guide for delivering overnight camps in the reality of COVID-19. As such, we will adhere to all state and local health department guidelines that are in place during programs including practicing social distancing, healthy hand hygiene practices and increased cleaning and sanitation protocols. We have extensive cleaning protocols both between and during sessions and provide hand sanitizer in the cabins and around Camp. That said, please feel free to bring any of your own cleaning supplies to use during your time with us.
