This particular weekend we will be celebrating Camp Seafarer's 60th Anniversary. More details to come!
What better way to spend a vacation than at Camp with your family!? Join us for a fun-filled, all-inclusive experience where you get to choose how to spend your days. Take part in some of the traditional Camp activities, soak in the peace and quiet during some gorgeous sunsets and spend time making memories that will last a lifetime!
How will the program work?
- Each family will have their own cabin/housing at Camp.
- Activities will be open and will include sailing, powerboating, archery, canoeing, swimming, target sports, arts & crafts and more!
- Evening Programs will include campfires, smores and fellowship (at a safe distance).
- Meals will be in the dining hall and there will also be cookouts at individual cabins. Meals will be served in the dining hall. We have taken certain measures to ensure a safe dining experience for our families. These include but are not limited to: reducing the number of tables in our dining facility to allow proper social distancing, assigning meal times to limit the number of people served at once, serving food on "to-go" trays so participants can choose where they would like to eat, requiring masks inside the dining facility, and providing hand-sanitizer for everyone upon entry.

Ensuring a Safe and Healthy Environment at Camp
Ensuring a safe summer will require a partnership among all of us. Our top priority is to keep our campers, families, and staff safe. In light of our current reality, we have elevated our medical protocols and practices using recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), American Camp Association (ACA), North Carolina State Health and Human Services, Pamlico County Health Department, and with guidance from our Camp Medical Advisory Committee.
Click here for an overview of our COVID-19 Medical Protocols and our Pre-Camp Health Assessment and Temperature Form for EMBARK. All family members will be required to bring their Health Assessment with them to Camp. As always, we will continue to monitor guidance from the CDC and the State of North Carolina. We recognize that COVID-19 guidelines will change as the landscape changes, and will adapt our programming and protocols accordingly.
Our program has been designed in accordance to state and local health regulations, CDC recommendations, and the ACA’s field guide for delivering overnight camps in the reality of COVID-19. As such, we will adhere to all state and local health department guidelines that are in place during programs including practicing social distancing, healthy hand hygiene practices and increased cleaning and sanitation protocols. We have extensive cleaning protocols both between and during sessions and provide hand sanitizer in the cabins and around Camp. That said, please feel free to bring any of your own cleaning supplies to use during your time with us.
