2023 Cancellation Policies
2023 Summer Sessions
When you enroll your child in our program, you are reserving space, time, meals, supplies, and staffing whether or not your camper attends the program. In order to cancel a Summer Session (4 week, 2 week or Starter), Camp Sea Gull and Camp Seafarer will use the following deadlines for cancellations.
Written Notice Before March 1: If received before March 1, 50% of your registration fee will be refunded. Any program fees that have been paid to date will be refunded.
Written Notice After March 1: If received March 1 to May 15, your registration fee is non-refundable and 50% of your program fees will be refunded. After May 15, no refund will be given on registration or program fees.

2023 Summer Day Camp
In order to cancel a Summer Day Camp program, Camp must receive a written cancellation notice three weeks prior to the first day of the program. The registration fee is nonrefundable.
2023 Waitlisted Summer Sessions
When you purchase a waitlisted session, you will only pay the registration fee. If no space becomes available, Camp will refund your registration fee. If you choose the cancel before we contact you, Camp will refund your registration fee.
2023 Horseback Riding
In order to cancel a Horseback Riding program, Camp must receive a written cancellation before May 15. The registration fee is nonrefundable.
In cases where Horseback Riding lessons are canceled due to inclement weather, we make every effort to make up the missing lesson if weather and program schedules permit. Canceled lessons due to inclement weather will not be refunded. Rates for our horseback riding offerings take into account the fact that most campers will miss at least one lesson for weather or a program conflict. Non-attendance for lessons does not result in a refund. When you enroll your child, you are reserving a space, time and staffing whether or not your child attends the lesson.
2023 Family Camps or Weekend Programs
In order to cancel a Family Camp or a Weekend program, Camp must receive a written cancellation notice three weeks prior to the first day of the program. There is a non-refundable $25 processing fee to cancel our Family Camp or a Weekend Program.
Summer 2023 Overnight Camp Traditional Program Cancellation
We are committed to the health and well-being of our campers, families and staff and we will continue to monitor guidance from the CDC and North Carolina State health agencies. We recognize that recommendations and guidelines will evolve and we commit to evaluating our programs, cancellation & refund policies and protocols accordingly.
