We need your help!
Camp Night Hosts
During the fall and winter, we travel to approximately 40 cities connecting with campers, parents, alums and friends of Camp. We need volunteers to host the Camp Night in their home or help us find an appropriate location. Camp Night hosts help by connecting with prospective campers prior to the event. Our Camp Nights, lasting about an hour, give parents and children a chance to learn about Camp, talk with our directors, see friends and discover what's new for next year. Contact Jill Patterson.
Spring and Fall Weekend Volunteers
During the spring and fall, families and other groups attend Camp for programs such as Family Camp, Y Guides & Princesses and Y Life. These are your opportunities to be a staff member again by volunteering at an activity from Friday night through Sunday lunch. Contact Lydia Warren.
Summer Session Volunteers (Opening and Closing Days)
We have lots of campers flytraveling by plane or chartered buses (Raleigh, Baltimore, Charlotte, Atlanta) between sessions. We're looking for volunteers to greet campers and talk with parents at airports and chartered bus locations. Contact Lisa Brown.
If you are in the area, in the summer, we're looking for volunteers to greet families and answer questions at our Dessert Social the night before Opening Day. Also, we would love to have you onsite during Opening and Closing Days as a resource for parents. Contact Sallie Ransom.
Annual Campaign Volunteer
Our CampAnnualFund provides camperships, subsidizes our Pamlico County outreach programs, and enhances overall programs and facilities. We need volunteers to make personal connections by calling, emailing, Facebooking or writing Camp friends to ask for support. Volunteer on your own, or join a team. We have volunteer teams in Atlanta, Charleston, S.C., Charlotte, N.C., Eastern N.C., Raleigh, N.C., Richmond, Va., Washington D.C., and Winston-Salem, N.C. Contact Lisa Brown.
