Renewal applications for 2011 staff were mailed October 2011. Now, accepting applications for summer 2012 counselors and staff.

Based on the high number of returning Junior Counselors and new applicants, Camp Sea Gull & Seafarer are no longer able to consider new Junior Counselor applicants. Any new applications received will remain on file, but are not guaranteed an interview. We encourage you to actively pursue other summer opportunities.

The 2013 summer staff application will be available no later than November 15, 2012.  We hope you will consider Camp Sea Gull & Seafarer for your 2013 summer employment.

Extended Season

The Extended Season counselors will ensure the health, welfare, care and safety of all participants at all times, including, supervising and providing instruction on all assigned activities and living with (as needed) campers in a cabin.

This spring we have positions available for week-long camps and weekend camps.

Summer

Camp Sea Gull is seeking positive role models for the summer of 2012.

Counselors live with and care for campers in their cabins, promoting character development, safety and how to get along with others. Counselors also lead and teach campers in activity areas, from aquatics and archery to power boating, sailing and zipline. Additional certifications are required for water activities. Enthusiasm, cooperation and a positive attitude are must-have qualities!

Senior Counselors must be age 19 or rising college sophomores.

Extended Season, Summer

Camp Sea Gull and Camp Seafarer are looking for experienced Registered Nurses for our 2012 spring and summer camp season. 

Candidates must have a current North Carolina Nursing License and strong assessment skills. One to three years of experience required with preferred pediatric work. Applicants must have strong organizational and communication skills and must demonstrate caring and a willingness to participate in camp activities.
