Current Profession and Title/Years in role: Global Luxury Fashion Sales Consultant (1 year), former Vice President of Global Sales for KHAITE (3 years)

Can you provide a brief overview of your job responsibilities? I am a Global Fashion Sales Consultant, focusing on emerging talent, in support of scaling luxury brands within early years of inception. My main responsibilities include growing and maintaining wholesale distribution with worldwide partners, managing the financial terms of each agreement, and working alongside design to provide merchandising analysis to direct the future development of an expanding collection.

Do you have any career advice for members of our Camp community? Passion drives ambition. Listen to yourself and follow a profession that inspires you. If you love what you do, you will throw all of yourself into your work.

What do you believe have been some of your greatest personal and professional accomplishments? While at KHAITE, my team helped scale the business from ~60 to 200+ points of distribution. With regional sales teams in New York, Milan, and Paris, we were responsible for a +400% sales increase in the division within my 3 years of being at the company.

How do the values or skills you learned at Camp show up in your everyday work and/or personal life? In simplest terms, Camp always demonstrated that taking the high road pays off in the end. I have done my best to follow this instinct since the first days of my career, even before feeling certain of my individuality. My southern roots, friendly demeanor, and putting people first immediately helped develop my industry relationships. The industry is small, so I have worked with the same partners for over a decade now. I believe my wholesale partners always consider me an honest individual that will only push for a mutually beneficial result.

Is there a person or a situation that had a huge influence on you while you were at Camp? How and why did they/it impact you? So many, I am not sure where to start! Cille Griffith, Sallie Ransom, Mary Laurence McMillan, Elizabeth Bills, Alston Shackelford. They were all such positive figures in my life during such a formative period. I hope my little girl will have similar role models that exemplify the same love, faith, and self confidence that these individuals showed me.

What advice would you give your younger self? Understand that you will not always feel certain of yourself, and that’s ok! Life has highs and lows, but surround yourself by individuals that you love and respect and they will help guide your future.

Favorite Camp meal: Spaghetti with frozen chocolate fudge bars

All-time favorite skit memory: Brooks (Sykes) Sutton getting proposed to while on stage for a Saturday Camp Sea Gull dance skit.

Devotion you best remember from Camp: You can’t put toothpaste back in the tube – i.e. you can’t take your words back, so choose them wisely.

What three words best describe you? Fun loving, direct, fervent

What profession other than your own would you like to try? My dad says I should have been a lawyer because I can argue my way out of anything

What would you eat if you could only have one food for the rest of your life? Pasta
