In Environmental Discovery, campers learn about the coastal habitat and the surrounding environment along the Neuse River and lakes at Camp. They learn about the water cycle, tides, conservation, and keeping the coastline clean. Other activities may include outdoor cooking, hikes and observing and identifying wildlife, trees and plants.
Environmental Discovery is a great opportunity for campers to understand the greater natural world around them and their impact upon it.
