Driving to Camp is an option chosen by many parents to visit Camp and meet their child’s counselors. Other arrival and departure options are Camp-chartered buses and commercial airlines. Once registered, parents will receive detailed information regarding transportation options available for their child’s session.
Transportation forms are located under Forms for Enrolled Campers. Just click the session your camper is attending for the correct form.
Chartered Buses
Camp Sea Gull & Camp Seafarer offer chartered bus service to and from several major cities on the East Coast. Buses are equipped with restrooms and campers enjoy movies during the trip. There are short rest stops, and when necessary, stops for meals. Staff members from Camp Sea Gull & Camp Seafarer supervise each bus.
Commercial Air Transportation
Most major airlines fly into and out of Raleigh-Durham International Airport, located approximately three hours from Camp. Coastal Carolina Regional Airport, located 30 minutes from Camp, is serviced by US Airways (via Charlotte, N.C.) and Delta Airlines (via Atlanta, Ga.).
Camp Sea Gull & Camp Seafarer offer shuttle service to and from Coastal Carolina Regional Airport (EWN) in New Bern, N.C., and Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU). Camp Sea Gull & Camp Seafarer staff members will assist campers as permitted by airport authorities at designated airports.
