Camp Sea Gull & Camp Seafarer are located 25 miles east of New Bern, N.C. on NC 306 South.
If you are arriving from the north:
- Drive through Washington, N.C., on US 17 South to Chocowinity
- Take NC 33 East from Chocowinity to NC 306
- Turn right onto 306 South to Grantsboro, and continue 8 miles to Arapahoe
- To reach Camp Seafarer, turn right onto Seafarer Road and drive 2 miles to the entrance gate
- To reach Camp Sea Gull, continue on 306 South for 4 more miles. The entrance gate is on the left just before the Minnesott Ferry dock.
If arriving from the south or west:
- Take Hwy 70 East to New Bern. (This is the Selma exit off Interstate 95.)
- Take exit 417 (New Bern/Washington) across the Neuse River bridge
- Follow signs to Bayboro, Hwy 55 East
- Take Hwy 55 East twelve miles to the traffic light in Grantsboro
- At this intersection, turn right onto Hwy 306 South and drive 8 miles to Arapahoe
- To reach Camp Seafarer, turn right onto Seafarer Road and drive 2 miles to the entrance gate
- To reach Camp Sea Gull, continue on 306 South for 4 more miles. The entrance gate is on the left just before the Minnesott Ferry dock.
If arriving from Morehead City:
- Take Hwy 70 West to Havelock
- At the first light turn right onto McCotter Blvd.
- At the next light, turn right onto Hwy 101
- Follow Hwy 101 six miles to Cherry Branch Ferry Road. A green sign for the ferry is on the right and the road is to the left
- Turn left and drive 4 miles to the ferry
- Once across the river, exit to the left from the ferry dock onto Hwy 306 North
- Camp Sea Gull’s entrance is 1/4 mile on the right
- To reach Camp Seafarer, follow Hwy 306 North 4 miles to Arapahoe. Turn left onto Seafarer Road and drive 2 miles to the entrance gate.
